Welcome to the Maryland Orchestra Directors Association!

The Maryland Orchestra Directors Association (MODA) provides student events such as the All State Orchestras, State Orchestra Festivals, and the String Solo & Ensemble Festival. MODA also maintains the Maryland Music Lists, and presents conferences for Maryland string teachers.

When you find great pieces, please remember to submit them to MODA for the Music Review Committee. It's never too soon to send in a submission for the Summer 2012 Review.

Getting involved with MODA is easy. We have many opportunities to be a part of the events we plan for the students of Maryland. Helping out not only benefits your students, but is a wonderful way to meet and share ideas with string teaching colleagues!

State Music List - New Updates are posted! They will be incorporated into the lists as soon as possible.

If you have pieces you'd like to add to the list, please be aware that June 5th is the deadline. The Committee will meet in June, and additions will be posted by August 1st.
