Rollo Dilworth is Associate Professor of
Choral Music Education at Temple University’s Boyer School of Music in Philadelphia, PA. In
addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in choral music education, he serves as conductor for the University Chorale. Prior
to his appointment at Temple, Dilworth served as
Director of Choral Activities and Music Education at North Park University in Chicago, IL

Sigrid Johnson has been a member of the voice and choral faculty at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, since 1983. During her 24-year tenure as conductor of Manitou Singers, the 100-voice chorus for first-year women at St. Olaf, Johnson has inspired more than 2,000 young women. As a guest clinician at choral workshops and all-state music festivals in 30 states she has enriched and deepened the musical experience of countless singers of all ages across the country. A graduate of Florida State University, James Palmer has
been teaching High School Orchestra for Twenty Two years. He is currently the Orchestra Director and Fine Arts Department Chairman at Allatoona High School in Acworth, Georgia, and The Music Director for The Youth Orchestras of Greater Columbus in Columbus Georgia. In addition to his teaching career, Mr.
Palmer has served as conductor with the Florida West Coast Symphony Youth Orchestra, Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and former Music Director for The Tampa Bay Youth Orchestra and the Southwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. read more...

E. Daniel Long is a retired public school teacher after a forty-year career directing bands and orchestras in Nebraska and Michigan. For 35 years, he was affiliated with the Ann Arbor Public Schools. He is the Founding Director of the School for Performing Arts-Ann Arbor Youth Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Long has appeared as a

Patrick J. Burns (b. 1969) has served as adjunct professor of music at Montclair State University in New Jersey since 1994, where he teaches courses in music theory, orchestration, and composition. He has also taught instrumental music in the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools since 1998. As a clarinetist, Mr. Burns has performed with many professional ensembles in the New York metro area, including the Metropolitan Opera Summer Ballet Orchestra, the pit orchestra for the Broadway revival production of Camelot starring Robert Goulet, and the New Jersey Chamber Music Society in broadcasts for National Public Radio and New Jersey Network Television. In twenty-seven years under Mr. Garrett's direction, the band program at Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV, has grown to include concert band, marching band, percussion ensemble, marimba ensemble, steel band, brass ensemble, woodwind ensemble, jazz combos, and jazz ensemble. The marching band has been honored with more than 250 awards, and was a Bands of America Eastern Regional Finalist in 1995, 96, 97, and 98. The concert organizations have received numerous Superior ratings in solo and ensemble, jazz ensemble, and concert band festivals. Fred Irby, III, a native of Mobile, AL, is a graduate of Grambling State University (LA) and Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville). As professor of music at Howard University in Washington, DC, Mr. Irby is the coordinator of instrumental music, trumpet instructor, and director of the internationally acclaimed Howard University Jazz Ensemble (HUJE); he has been a member of the Department of Music faculty at Howard University since 1974. He is also the principal trumpet player of the Kennedy Center Opera House Musical Theater Orchestra and has recorded several films for the History Channel. He played principal trumpet on the cast recording of Stephen Sondheim's latest musical Bounce.
